About Dr Maryam Karimi
Dr Maryam is a caring and experienced General Practitioner with more than six years of clinical experience across Iran and Australia. Since moving to New South Wales in 2025, she has been committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. As she progresses through her Fellowship pathway, Dr Maryam is delighted to be relocating to Launceston, where she looks forward to putting down roots and becoming an active member of the local community.
She believes in building lasting relationships with individuals and families through trust, empathy, and open communication, and is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's individual needs.
Known for her warm, friendly, and approachable nature, Dr Maryam creates a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health concerns. She is dedicated to supporting patients at every stage of life and empowering them to achieve their best possible health outcomes.
Outside of medicine, Dr Maryam enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a keen interest in badminton, music, and films.
