About Dr Neda Salek
Dr Neda Salek is a warm, approachable GP who brings more than 20 years of experience in family medicine to the Launceston community. She completed her medical degree at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1997 and has since cared for patients across Iran and Victoria before choosing Tasmania as her new home in 2026.
Dr Salek enjoys looking after individuals and families across all stages of life. Patients appreciate her calm manner, her ability to explain things clearly, and the time she takes to understand what matters most to them. She believes in partnering with you to create a health plan that is practical, personalised, and sustainable.
Now settling into life in northern Tasmania, Dr Salek is excited to build long-term relationships with local families. She welcomes patients from all cultural backgrounds.
Outside the clinic, you'll often find her baking something delicious, swimming, or exploring the beautiful walking trails around Launceston.
