About Dr Preeti Deshpande
Dr Preeti moved from India and settled in Launceston in 2006. She started her career at Launceston General Hospital in 2007 working in various departments for 6 years. She joined General Practice in 2013 and has gained vast experience in these years, treating a wide range of presentations across all age groups.
She is a dedicated professional, providing comprehensive personalised care to her patients. Dr Preeti has a special interest in the field of allergy. She has expertise in skin prick testing for hay fever evaluation and desensitisation therapy, and is planning to pursue advanced studies in Allergy Medicine.
Dr Preeti is a member of the Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, a Fellow of RACGP, and a member of Tasmanian GPs with special interest in Allergies.
She is a compassionate doctor who is excited to welcome new patients.
Preeti lives with her husband and two beautiful daughters and is proud to be a Tasmanian.
